An Afterschool Program is provided for registered students at Holy Family School. Our CPR and First Aid certified staff provides a safe environment for children to socialize with their friends. Along with a healthy snack being provided, second-grade and older students are allowed to begin working on their homework. Physical activity, games, and arts/crafts are incorporated into the schedule when time and weather permit.
Our hours of operation are 7:30 am – 6:00 pm. Half-Day Preschool students arrive at 10:30 am and are provided with a hot lunch from the school cafeteria or they may pack a lunch. Full-Day Preschool through 8th-grade students arrive at 3:05 and are provided a snack.
Our program is open on weekdays when Holy Family School is in session. This includes the days the school dismisses at noon. However, the Afterschool Program is closed on snow days, holidays, and school breaks. There are a few exceptions when enough children need care during school breaks, and this will be determined by the Program Director.
Each student MUST have a completed registration packet, valid Kentucky immunization record, and the $20 registration fee paid before using the program. There are NO exceptions to this rule. The Afterschool is bound by the laws set forth by the state of Kentucky and governed by the Division of Regulated Childcare through the Office of the Inspector General. The program undergoes yearly inspections and is required to post violations of the regulations in the classroom. Please feel free to look at the guidelines along with our inspection reports at your convenience.
Please feel free to call or email the Program Director, Nancy Redden to set up a time to take a tour of this wonderful program. 606-324-0261 [email protected]
